BACHMAN EMPLOYEE COLLEGE TUITION PROGRAM The Bachman Company encourages continued development of skills and personal growth through educational courses and seminars. Employees have the opportunity to continue their undergraduate or graduate studies through local accredited technical schools, colleges and universities. Incentives are added based on grade attainment. Employees can request a copy of the company's tuition program policy by contacting the H/R department or by clicking on the request form button at the top of the page.

The Manufacturers Association of Berks County offers certificate programs in the following areas: Supervisor, Purchasing Management, Human Resources, Safety Management, Facility Maintenance Management, Customer Service. Each certificate program is comprised of a series of core and elective courses. In addition, there are several topical seminars offered throughout the year. Food Science Introduction: General overview and principles; food properties; quality and safety; preservation methods; processing animal and plant products. Food Science Food Plant Sanitation: Organization and administration of food plant sanitation with emphasis on the production and maintenance of safe, wholesome food products. Food Microbiology Testing: How to Manage Food-borne Pathogens Provides a basic understanding of the ecology of microorganisms in foods, detection, enumeration, isolation of identification and pathogens and/or their toxins. Also, how to manage these pathogens in food and the environment.
